Conflict reminds us things may be out of control but we can always control one element of any conflict: ourselves and our reaction.
Internal turmoil stems from energetic build up. Expressing our emotions physically helps us release traumas we may or may not know about.
Sing, shout, dance, climb a tree or even spin around in circles a little bit (space and safety permitting).
Movement releases your excess energy back into the aether better than keeping it within.
