When you went to PT school, did you spend three years learning how to supervise a tech?
Yeah. We didn't either.
I'm sharing a short video from Matt, one of the founders at Evolve Physical Therapy, and this is the part of outpatient PT that quietly bothers a lot of clinicians but rarely gets said out loud. Somewhere along the way, "physical therapist" turned into "tech supervisor with a caseload." You run between rooms, you sign off on exercises someone else is cueing, and the patient-therapist relationship you trained for gets diluted.
We built Evolve differently on purpose:
✅ No techs. No aides. You do the eval, you do the treatment, start to finish.
✅ 45-minute treatment blocks, one patient at a time.
✅ Real continuity so your patient learns your name, not somebody else's.
✅ One-on-one care as the standard, not a premium upsell.
That's the whole job. That's why most of us got into this profession in the first place.
We are actively hiring licensed physical therapists right now at both of our Portland metro locations, Bethany and Sherwood, Oregon. If you're ready to do the work you actually trained for, we'd love to meet you.
