Staff Spotlight: Stacie Heiberg, Our Business Office Manager 💥
Let’s take a moment to recognize the real MVP behind the scenes: Stacie Heiberg, our brilliant Business Office Manager (aka BOM, aka The One Who Keeps Us All Paid and Out of Trouble).
While the rest of us are running around the building doing patient care, answering phones, or drinking cold coffee, Stacie is quietly fighting a very different kind of battle—the battle of the bills. Every patient charge, insurance denial, hospital LOA, Medicare code—you name it—Stacie sees it, tracks it, and somehow gets it all paid. Honestly, without her, we’d be financially lost, confused, and still trying to figure out what a UB-04 is.
Stacie isn’t just crunching numbers. She’s fighting for our patients to make sure their insurance covers the care they need, and she’s fighting for our clinical team to ensure they get reimbursed for all their hard work. She’s our behind-the-scenes-warrior, part financial wizard, part patient advocate, and part magician.
With 25 years of experience in skilled nursing billing, Stacie’s basically the Beyoncé of Business Office Management. She’s seen it all, billed it all, and handled it all with grace (and maybe a little sass when necessary).
When she’s not saving our facility one claim at a time, Stacie loves to travel with her daughter and reconnect with nature—preferably somewhere with no Wi-Fi and no billing codes.
We truly don’t know how we’d function without you, Stacie. You’re the heartbeat of the business office and the secret sauce to our success. Thank you for all you do!
