🚨 If you have OHP health insurance, these recent changes might affect your ability to receive mental health therapy!! 🚨

Oregon Health Plan (OR Medicaid) has made big changes to the rules on who can bill OHP for mental health care. That means not every therapist can accept OHP anymore.

💡 The good news?
Willamette Wellness Center is in network ✅ and we can still see OHP patients across Oregon.

🌲 We provide trauma-informed, evidence-based therapy (EMDR, IFS, DBT and more), we specialize in trauma informed care— and right now, we have openings for new clients!

If you or someone you know has OHP and is looking for care, we’re here to help. 💙

👉 Plans we accept:
✔️ Health Share
✔️ Open Card
✔️ Jackson Care Connect
✔️ Columbia Pacific
✔️ Trillium
✔️ Pacific Source Community Solutions

🌟 Big News! 🌟

🏢✨ Our local mental health group, Willamette Wellness Center, officially joined the North Clackamas Chamber of Commerce and we had a great networking event today held at the adorable LA Food and Deli in Happy Valley!

🤝💬 We met so many wonderful new friends and local businesses to partner with, including connecting with a public education specialist from Clackamas Fire to talk about mental health for first responders—and treating PTSD and trauma, one of our favorite communities to support and some of our best therapy to provide.

📄📣 WWC also shared our new marketing materials designed by the incredible , and we’re excited for many more community events to keep spreading the word about the mental health care and support we provide.

💙🌲 Supporting the health and wellness of our community is at the heart of what we do — and we can’t wait to keep showing up for Clackamas and being a resource for mental health therapy that our communities need!

One critical piece of dating advice for both men and women: Stay away from the question, “What do you bring to MY table?” This ugly and unhelpful mindset focuses only on what someone else can provide you, reducing relationships to transactions and checklists.

Instead, flip the question: “What do I bring to my own table?”

Women who’ve invested heavily in their careers, personal growth and education often seek men who have done the same.

As a result, men who don’t check these boxes can feel stuck in what one Reddit user described as “the deep end of the pool,” competing for fewer dating matches and facing more rejection.

Men are not competing with other men.

Men are competing with women’s own peace and freedom in their lives as single women. For women to consider partnership, men must contribute equally or greater to the overall happiness and stability of the couple.

These days, the world can feel like it’s spinning a little faster—and not always in the right direction. With political upheaval, ongoing threats to civil rights and an ever-growing stream of anxiety-inducing news, it’s no wonder so many of us are feeling overwhelmed, discouraged and even afraid.

But amidst this chaos, there are powerful coping skills and intentional choices we can make to stay grounded, preserve our mental health and show up meaningfully in our communities.
