Spring-Easter Fundraiser 2024 results!

We raised a total of $2500 this year; $2395 in cash, and $105 of item donations!

We were able to make 50 bags again this year, 30 for kids, and 20 for adults. Thank you to The DBT Clinic for letting us use their space to assemble the bags. And big thanks for their monetary donation too!
The bags were distributed to participants staying in domestic violence safe space shelters. One of Raphael House of Portland staff advocates shared, “People who donate special things for the holidays – like Easter baskets – to families they will never meet… it’s such a selfless thing, and a really big deal to help survivors keep their traditions.”
$998.86 went towards the bags, and Raphael House of Portland received the remaining $1501.14 in cash that the staff advocates will use to meet the needs of the participants individual personal needs. This is the most we've raised in the 5 years since we started this.
Special thanks to the volunteers who came to assemble the bags! It was a team effort, and I so appreciate everyone's time and willingness to help.

And thank you again to each of you for your help in making this event a success year after year! I am blessed and honored to share community with you.

We still have space in our Summer Intensive Interpersonal Effectiveness module. This module is in-person. The group will meet at The DBT Clinic for two hours once per week to learn DBT skills. We hope to see you there!

This summer we are offering a Summer Intensive DBT program! This program has openings now, and the first modules starts June 19th. The Summer Intensive provides the same education as our DBT Skills Groups, but is spread out over 3 months rather than the usual 6 months. The Skills modules may also be chosen based on what fits your schedule; one does not need to participate in all of the modules.
