Dr. Kara, our Naturopathic Physician, is keeping everyone up to date on safety concerning COVID-19. Follow her on facebook (Dr. Kara Noe) or instagram (.karanoe) to receive future updates.
We are taking every precaution at Springwater Wellness Center to help keep you safe, including frequent disinfecting throughout the office, hand washing before and after all client/patient visits, and advising those who feel sick to stay home.
Some of our providers at Springwater Wellness Center have decided to cancel all non-essential appointments for the next couple weeks in order to encourage recommendations on social distancing and help protect our clients, patients, and providers in the office. Please stay in touch with your individual providers with updates and to schedule or re-schedule future appointments.
Stay well!
Sadly, a 70 year old veteran in Multnomah county is Oregon’s first confirmed death due to -19 (Coronavirus). Our deepest condolences go out to his family and friends.

With this and other news of COVID-19 spreading throughout the United States, it is important to focus on being proactive and prepared versus panicked and feeling helpless.
•
There are many things you can start doing vigilantly TODAY (if you haven’t started already!) to decrease the spread of this virus. These precautions are not just to help keep yourself healthy, but also preserve the health and even the life of those more susceptible to serious illness in your community.
•
This may be a new virus, but that doesn’t mean the tried and true methods of preventing infections won’t work! So;
☑️Wash your hands frequently for at least 20 seconds with soap and water
☑️ Don’t touch your eyes, nose and mouth
☑️ Sneeze and cough into your elbow
And most importantly,
☑️ Stay home if you OR someone you live with is sick
•
Remember, we are still at the tail end of flu season and allergy season has started. If you don’t feel well it does not automatically mean you have COVID-19. But even so, help keep your community safe by staying home!
•
Finally,
☑️ Follow the recommendations of your local and federal health authorities when it comes to “social distancing”. This is not just for your safety, but the safety of others.
•
Although the main recommendations at this time are to keep ourselves isolated, by doing so this is actually an opportunity for us to support each other at the community level. None of us are in this alone. ✊

I will continue to post COVID-19 updates over the next days to weeks. Good Health is open and I am continuing to see patients and currently working on setting up phone consults and/or telemedicine appointments. Expect updates by the end of this week!
