At the age of 28 I migrated to America, by the age of 32 of the year 1996 I worked as a caregiver and met a nice woman who is a nurse and became one of my closest friends. One fine afternoon she asked me a promise, to take care of her like how I took care of my patients as a caregiver; Filipinos are known for being compassionate, gentle, loving, caring for other people and extremely hard working;

as her friend, I took the responsibility even until she cannot pay the facility where she was staying and around the clock caregiver. that is why I opened an Adult Foster Home and up until her death bed, I took care of her, and because of this experience, Serenity Care AFH begun.

At the age of 28 I migrated to America, by the age of 32 of the year 1996 I worked as a caregiver and met a nice woman who is a nurse and became one of my closest friends. One fine afternoon she asked me a promise, to take care of her like how I took care of my patients as a caregiver; Filipinos are known for being compassionate, gentle, loving, caring for other people and extremely hard working; as her friend, I took the responsibility even until her money was drained by paying the facility where she was staying and around the clock caregiver. that is why I opened an Adult Foster Home and up until her death bed, I took care of her, and because of this experience, Serenity Care AFH begun on 2006, and I fulfilled my promise to my beloved Fern Way as we call her Mother. She passed away on January 1,2009. Since then every first of January I constantly visit her grave to pay my respects and gratefulness.
