Never forget.

Although we are largely quiet on this platform as of late , we want it known that we stand with our immigrant patients, colleagues, friends, family, and neighbors against ICE violence. We stand in solidarity with those striking tomorrow and with those who cannot afford to do so. This is not the end, but with small, sustained action, we can make a difference.
We support our practitioners who are choosing to strike as well as those who are continuing to hold space for folks. We will be making a donation to to further support our community.
Let’s not forget what TRULY makes this country great.

Firstly, we would like to remind everyone to please go vote! National and state politics are so important, so don’t forget to send your ballot in if you haven’t. 🗳️
Secondly, we would like to remind you to use your acupuncture and massage benefits before they renew in January. Most insurance plans renew January 1st, meaning if you don’t use them, you lose them. If you have FSA/HSA funds that you need to use and won’t roll over to next year, now is the time to do that too!

New faces at !
We are delighted to announce the addition of Emily Costello, LAC, DACM (she/her) to the team. Emily is an acupuncturist with a passion for treating orthopedics and pain conditions, endocrine and hormonal disorders, as well as supporting folks with their mental health.

Emily will be in the office Wednesdays, Fridays, and Saturdays, and is currently taking new patients.

At long last, we are happy to announce that Darragh is now accepting Regence/BCBS insurance for massage therapy services. We are so excited about this and hope it will be less cost-prohibitive for you all to come in more frequently for routine care.

When scheduling an appointment, make sure to input your Regence information in the ‘insurance’ fields on the intake form. You can also leave a note for us when booking an appointment and we can check your benefits before your appointment.

Coverage varies widely from plan to plan so be sure to check your benefits before your appointment to make sure you have massage benefits.

Darragh focuses on orthopedic and sports massage, injury prevention, pain management, Swedish relaxation massage, and Japanese facial massage.

Want to train for something but don’t know how, want to increase your activity level but not sure where to start, want to recover from an injury or prevent injury? Whether you are a seasoned athlete training for an event, a weekend warrior, or someone who is looking to get their body moving but not sure how to begin, this is for you. Darragh is a specialized Sports Therapist who utilizes her background in Exercise & Sport Science with her personal experience being a pro athlete along with her career as a Sports Medicine Massage Therapist to create a specialized program just for your needs.
These appointments combine all of Darragh’s expertise and begin with an Initial 90 min consultation where you & Darragh review all of your goals and needs, whether they are athletic or lifestyle achievements. Based on this, Darragh will create a training plan for you with exercises, movement, and lifestyle recommendations. She will then do 45 mins of Sports Medicine Massage based on your needs. Follow-up appointments will be determined at the initial consultation and each appointment will be a combination of checking-in about your training plan and sports medicine massage.
These training programs will be tailored for anyone ranging from endurance athletes–such as runners, weekend warriors, or marathon runners– those who are recovering from injury, to those who are looking for exercises to help reduce pain due to desk jobs and how to incorporate exercise in a sustainable and meaningful way.

🌸 Happy pink flower season🌸

Spring has been in full bloom here at Weave Wellness, and we are so fortunate to be able to support you during this transitional time from winter to spring. As the world sprouts up from slumber, we’ve seen more aches and pains, sleep issues, and burnout. Make sure you’re taking time to tend to yourself, especially as we start living life in a more extroverted way.

As an update: our acupuncturists will be on Spring break the first part of April to rest, recharge, and celebrate the good things life. We believe that in order to provide high-quality, patient-centered care we all need to spend time doing things that bring joy. We make this a priority for ourselves and our staff.

Fear not though, our amazing massage therapists, Katy and Darragh will take good care of you while we’re away.
Katy’s style is deep, flowing, and profoundly restorative.
Darragh’s style is potent, strong, and very relaxing.

While it’s still been feeling like Winter here in the PNW, Spring is indeed on the way.
