📚 Book of the Month 📚
March's Book of the Month is "How to Catch a Leprechaun"! Check out some activity ideas you and your child can do at home:
🍀 Sequencing: discuss what traps were tried first, second, third, etc. to practice storytelling and sequencing skills!
🍀 Have your child draw out their own leprechaun trap, or make it! Use cardboard, popsicle sticks, shiny things for bait, magnet tiles, etc. to build their own trap! Discuss what is needed for the trap, have them describe it, ask questions such as "what happens if...?"
🍀 Find the leprechaun / talk about where he left his clues on each page - use prepositions to talk about where he is or where is is going ("He's behind the fence! His handprint is on the wall! He's running out of the house! etc.)
