Congratulations to our April Rock Star, Jill McAdams!
We were tasked with going to every room in the Terrace to work on each room for a few minutes. Jill volunteered to go to every room and let the residents know we were coming in for a few minutes to do some work. She stepped up helped us out so we could get through this task as quickly and quietly without distrusting the residents. She helped make the residents feel comfortable while we did our work. She and like the other care takers are Rock Stars.

Catching up on TWO months of Rock Stars!
In February: Justin takes great pride in his everyday duties — so willing to jump in and help a resident with any garden or yard detail. He is always eager to get the job done, learn new duties, and never complains. He volunteers to come in on holidays and or snow days if necessary. Justin is also very gracious towards coworkers and residents. He is friendly and kind.
In March: David designed, from scratch, an incredible mural to go on the wall in Glacier Lily - our Memory Care community. David's talent, incredible attention to detail, and collaborative spirit exemplify the Rock Star philosophy at Willamette View and we are so fortunate to have him on our team!
Portland is called "The Rose City" for good reason! Our beloved Rose Festival has been going strong for over 100 years. The Royal Rosarian Rose Garden Contest

Let's all congratulate Austin G on being the January Rock Star! Austin came up to Riverview, which is NOT his normal kitchen, and noticed us talking. We had a clogged drain in a very hard to get to space. Austin immediately got towels and got on the floor to reach his hand into the nasty clogged drain and fixed it for us. Thanks Austin!!!
