Hi friends,
I've been busy helping my baby doll horse recover from surgery these last few weeks and have been MIA on socials.
Just writing to remind you that it's totally normal to have a wide array of feelings, to have multiple feelings at once, sometimes even conflicting feelings, about a person, place or thing in your life, all at once.
We hold multitudes.
We are complex.
That's what makes us human.
Lately my work with clients has been normalizing the human experience.
Practicing being a container for all of our parts. They all make sense.
We are not machines, we are not superhuman, and that is a GOOD thing.
Don't let social media tell you otherwise.

Hi friends,
I'm out of the office starting today and will be returning on 7/28 ✌🏼
I plan to soak up the sun and close out my 31st year on this earth with family and friends.
Take a beat to slow down with yourselves, notice something beautiful around you and take it in.

Most of you know I brought home a new horse about 2 months ago, and I love her so much already. I am truly in awe of the confidence she radiates and her expression of knowing who she is and what she wants. I'm sure this is why I chose her and she chose me.
As with most things in life, there are many sides to this one experience.
This experience of learning a new horse, building a new relationship, diving into vulnerability again has brought up so many parts of me. Some easier to sit with than others.
Thankfully I was reminded in a somatic IFS workshop that "I am not my feelings, I am the one who feels them".
And what do we need when we're feeling feelings?
We need to "feel felt". We need to "get gotten".
The greatest gift we can give ourselves is learning to listen within and honor our experience.
So I am slowing down, listening to what arises and noticing the wisdom within.
Being present with our internal world is the way through 💗

This weekend held another succesful BTMM clinic with the wonderful Stacia. So many beautiful horses and humans coming together in real connection.
I always love seeing each horse evolve differently and in their own way. I'm personally continuously learning, which is good for my parts that just want to know it all and do it right immediately 🤣, the whole point is the peeling back new layers I didn't know existed. Grateful for these tools and like minded people, and as says "our lord and savior, Pillar 1". I'm proud to be a horse girl in this way and time with horses.
