Thanks to the power of our members, we successfully raised $10,000 for Representative Muñoz’s campaign! 💪 She's a patient long-time advocate for Chiropractic and will be introducing our Work Comp bill as chief sponsor in the next legislative session with 14 other members signing as co-sponsors

🚨Calling All Chiropractors🚨 In a last minute play, HB3824 seeks to dangerously expand the scope of PTs and their assistants to include spinal and extra-spinal manipulation, needle insertion, and vaccinations while limiting the use of descriptors surrounding “physiotherapy” and “physical therapy”. We and Acupuncture associations strongly oppose this bill. But the timeline is tight. The public has until tomorrow, Saturday the 10th, at 3pm, to submit a written testimony against this bill.

We are urging everyone to write in; encourage your patients to write in; anyone and everyone you can. This is an issue of public safety. This is an issue of practice integrity. You don’t need a strong imagination to figure out what the practice of Chiropractic will be like in this state 10-15 years from now if all PTs and their assistants are performing HVLA manipulation. You have the chance to stop it and it just takes one click here:

Testimony submitted is made publicly available and becomes part of the public record. Do not submit testimony containing personal information that you do not want to be made public.

❗️SAIF's HB33774 IS DEFEATED ❗️
Thanks to everyone's calls and letters, this terrible bill was "tabled" by the committee. Now SAIF may come back next session; but now they know this won't be an easy fight. Thanks to our lobbyist for his excellent testimony and thank YOU for taking the time to write and call in.

We'd like to thank immediate past president, Dr. Arnot for his amazing leadership during a time of great strain and difficulty. Fortunately, he's not going anywhere and will continue to serve and help on this Board.

"As the immediate past president of the OCA I will continue to work diligently to decommission the old office and complete the transition to the new management group. Additionally as the IRC committee chair I will continue to improve relations with the insurance carriers so we are able to seek higher reimbursement for our services. My goal this year is to tackle Regence/Cambia as they have been the most egregious in cutting our fees. I hope that collaboratively with the WSCA we could make an appeal to them. Together we are aligned."
