Truth Training should be mandatory.
I get it—this goes against the grain of wanting everyone to be free, sovereign, and rooted in their own truth. But guess what? It’s true. ;)
This is the kind of self-understanding and skill-building that should have been taught to us when we were teenagers—right when we were starting to explore the edges of individuation, adulthood, and identity.
But it didn’t happen. It still doesn’t happen.
Culturally, we're like uninitiated children walking around in adult bodies, still terrified of others’ opinions and unsure of who we really are in a world constantly telling us who we should be.
It breaks my heart when I work with clients, and EVERY SINGLE ONE is afraid of their truth—afraid of their desires, what lights them up, and the unconventional path they secretly long to walk. There’s a pervasive fear of judgment that fuels our inability to fully love and accept ourselves—one that no amount of self-help has been able to cure.
That’s because this work is foundational and relational. It has no interest in you becoming “better”—its only goal is for you to be everything you already are.
That’s the start, and the ending.
There’s not much to sell when it comes down to that—except for the skills and pattern shifts that help you land back in yourself in a way that feels safe, beautiful, and empowering.
As Stephen Jenkinson says, “Self-improvement is not the same as self-understanding. The world doesn’t need better versions of us; it needs us to be truly human, which means learning how to live with limits, with loss, and with grief.”
When we’re hyper-focused on being “good,” we lose the intimate aliveness that tracks truth, reality, and presence. We become disconnected from what’s real, from our ability to respond authentically.
That’s why I keep coming back to this course, this process of unlearning, repatterning, and exploring new edges together. Because it keeps proving to be the most necessary work in these post-modern, self-obsessed times.
Yes, truth serves you.
But you, in turn, serve the world.
Yes, living in truth can help you with:
- Financial wisdom and wellness
- Relational repair and intimacy
- Advocating for your needs
- Sharing your medicine with the world
- Reclaiming mental and physical well-being
- Creating integrated confidence
- Honoring your holy boundaries
- Living an authentic and inspiring life
But it’s not just about you. (Sorry, nothing really is.)
This work is an offering to all of your relationships—so they no longer have to do the invisible labor of making you feel loved and accepted.
This is an offering to your greater community, as you begin to lead by example—showing the benefits of honesty, transparency, and integrity.
This is a rite of passage in your own evolution, impacting your family, your spheres of influence, and your culture. Slowly, it shifts the needle toward a way of living with the earth, with life, and with each other that’s loving, kind, and responsible for the collective well-being.
What have you got to lose?
"Honesty will only ever ask you to let go of what’s not true."
