Students from the new OTD program at WOU are conducting a survey!
-Audience: OTs & OTAs
Research purpose: This study aims to examine occupational therapy practitioners' perceptions of the relationship between eating disorder and social participation in the context of their practice.
-Introduction & description: We are occupational therapy students (OTS) at Western Oregon University conducting a survey about the relationship between eating disorders and social participation. If you are an occupational therapist or occupational therapy assistant who is currently treating clients with a diagnosis of an eating disorder, or if you have treated one or more clients with a diagnosis of an eating disorder between June 2024 and June 2025, we would appreciate your participation in our survey.
We are interested in learning how occupational therapy practitioners (OTPs) perceive social participation in clients with eating disorders to better understand how interventions can be targeted to promote recovery in this population. If you are not eligible or interested in participation but know an OTP who may be, please forward this message and the survey link to them.
