Hello, we are Jameesa and Bryan Oakley of Portland, Oregon. Like many others on election night 2016, our family was left in shock and disbelief. How could a man who campaigned on hate become President of the United States? What would this mean for our values of love, decency and inclusion? How could we rise above the oppression and make an impact? With inspiration from some like-minded friends we realized we could utilize our professional skills and resources. Our family already owned and operated a small commercial sign printing business. Through visual displays of art and solidarity, we can inspire resistance and action. Love will win! We want to partner with individuals, organizations & movements to advance progressive causes through conversation and art. We want to help grass roots efforts raise funds and reach more people. 98% of mass shooters are cis men.
But when one shooter is trans, the right instantly blames gender-affirming care.

This isn’t about safety — it’s about scapegoating.
There is no evidence linking gender-affirming care to violence. But there’s plenty linking toxic masculinity, easy access to guns, and male entitlement to mass shootings.

Blaming trans people distracts from the real problem: America’s obsession with guns and a culture that teaches men violence = power.

👉🏾 Protect kids, not guns. End the scapegoating.

🗺️ Texas Republicans want to rig the maps, so Newsom flips the script — proposing a gerrymander of his own just to show the hypocrisy and counteract the Republican gerrymandering in Texas.

🗳️ But this battle of voter representation isn’t just about congressional maps — Mississippi must redraw their Supreme Court district lines, as the map currently dilutes the power of Black votes.

🚨GLOBAL STRIKE FOR GAZA🚨

Israel is moving to ethnically cleanse Gaza City while starving 2 million people to death. We cannot sit on our phones and watch this happen.

We are listening to Bisan’s call — it is time to escalate on a global level. When government refuse to listen, we as a global collective, must strike where it hurts them most: their economies.

We are joining the call for a global economic strike to shake economies around the world.

Starting Thursday 21st August, and continuing every Thursday thereafter, we call on groups, organizations, and unions everywhere to join the strike for Gaza.

Kim Davis is back, asking the Supreme Court to overturn marriage equality.

Her hypocrisy is loud, but the threat is louder: the same forces that took down Roe v. Wade are coming for LGBTQ+ rights.

👉🏾 When they attack one of us, they attack all of us. That’s why solidarity matters. We don’t sacrifice one group’s freedom to protect our own. We rise together.
