Common Ground Chiropractic Chiropractic care promotes health, healing, and wellness. We are an integral part of th Everett House Healing Center. Sometimes we go by the name Common Ground.

It is not just for the care of back pain, but is a wellness-oriented approach empowering individuals to return to a healthy condition. Common Ground Chiropractic was started in Nov. 1981 by Dr. Elliott Matell DC In 1983 the nam Common Ground Chiropactc was adopted. Did you know that the Everett House Healing Center started in 1979 as the progression of a home massage business by David Slawson(who

now runs East West College). It was then just known as the Everett House, then later became Everett Community Center which evolved into Common Ground in 1983 We have chosen to go back closer to our roots and readopted the name Everett House Healing Center. Hope that doesnt confuse anyone Anyways as far as we know we are Portland's Oldest Natural Healing Center. And on top of that we have been in the same location since 1979! Happy Healing!
