Our Legacy Good Samaritan Medical Center 150th Anniversary celebration was a beautiful reminder of what makes this place so special — the people, the purpose and the generations of compassion that continue to guide our work.

Our partners at CARES Northwest do incredible work helping children heal and thrive after trauma. 💙

Right now, they need community support to keep families connected to care. Your donation helps ensure kids don’t miss therapy because of transportation barriers. Please consider donating!

🚗 Transportation shouldn’t be the reason a child can’t get care.
Many families depend on transportation assistance to help them get to their CARES Northwest appointment. But this year, the need has skyrocketed—and our entire transportation budget is already gone.

If we can’t raise additional support, we’ll be forced to cut this program. That means children will have to stop therapy immediately or others won’t be able to have their evaluation appointment.

👻 Trick or treat! But let’s keep it safe. 🎃

We know how exciting trick-or-treating can be, but it’s also one of the most dangerous nights for pedestrians. That’s why our Injury Prevention team created Halloween Safety Bags to help families have fun and stay safe.

Each bag includes glow-in-the-dark items, candy, and safety tips for a worry-free night out.

Rip City is coming to Gresham! 🏀❤️🖤

Rip City Rally rolls through four Oregon cities every year, and this year, the event will take place at the Gresham Arts Plaza, located right in the heart of our community, near Legacy Mount Hood Medical Center. Join us Friday, Sept. 19, from 4–6 p.m. for games, clinics, mascots, and more.

Legacy Health and Randall Children’s Hospital staff are joining the fun with a booth full of giveaways and activities to encourage kids to get active and enjoy the outdoors. ☀️

The countdown is on for our NICU Family Reunion! 🤗

This September, we’ll gather to celebrate the incredible journeys of our NICU grads, and we’d love for you to join us.

One of those grads is baby Roy. At 28 weeks, his mother was diagnosed with Fetal Growth Restriction, and Roy arrived in July 2023 at 32 weeks and 5 days. From the very beginning of his 23-day NICU stay, Roy made it clear he wanted to do things his way. He came off CPAP after just two days, had his IV out after a week, and even pulled out his own feeding tube when he decided he was done with it!

Now, Roy is a vibrant 2-year-old—learning to jump, fascinated by flowers and plants, and filling his family’s home with laughter. ☺️

His family expressed gratitude to the NICU team that walked alongside them during those early days. We’re honored to celebrate Roy and all of our grads at this year’s reunion. ❤️

What a beautiful day at Randall Children’s Hospital at Legacy Emanuel! 🔆🎈😁

Our Summer Party 2025 was all about celebrating the courage of our patients and the strength of their families. From crafts and costumes to superheroes, sweet treats, and lots of laughter—it was a fun-filled day.

We couldn’t have done it without the amazing community partners who brought the magic to life: Miles from Molly/The Molly Thompson Foundation, Chelsea Hicks Foundation - Chelsea's Closet, Camp Korey, Comicare NW, Dark Horse Comics, Make-A-Wish Oregon, The Gilded Cat, Spencer Sprocket Entertainment, Portland Police Bureau, Portland Fire & Rescue, Artists in Healthcare, Clem the Clown, and the generous toy donors who made our raffle extra special. ❤️
