Our small but mighty team stepped away from the computers yesterday for a few hours of bonding and stress release at Celtic Axe Throwing. In spite of the great coaching we received from Scott, it turns out we don’t hit the mark quite as often with hatchets as we do with words, so we’ll be sticking to our day jobs.

Bingo. Colin at Epolitics.com is exactly right. Democrats have stronger grassroots fundraising because we think like organizers. When it comes to building your email supporter base, the old rule applies — cheap, fast, good: pick two.

Our client, Carolyn Long, is running for Washington's 3rd District seat. Carolyn's been a professor in the political science department at WSU for 22 years. The New York Times: "Prosecutors contend that Mr. Greitens, a Republican, illegally obtained a donor list from a veterans’ charity he founded and used it for his 2016 campaign." LISTEN UP, FOLKS. Just because it was your nonprofit, or one whose board you served on, or maybe your best friend runs it, does NOT mean you can just steal the list.

Mr. Greitens, a first-term Republican, had acknowledged an extramarital affair but denied reports that he threatened to blackmail the woman.
