These are unsubsidized units open to applicants who are at or below 50-60% of the Area Median Income (AMI).

Garlington Place Apartments is located in the beautiful heart of Northeast Portland. This modern building sits off of MLK Boulevard and has easy access to mass transit, groceries stores, restaurants and specialty stores.

It's another hot one! News from Multnomah County, 8/22/25:

We’re headed for another very hot spell with temperatures expected to reach at least 100 degrees today and tomorrow. 🗣️Please spread the word about County Cooling Centers.

These Cooling Centers are opening Friday, Aug. 22 from noon to 9 p.m. at the following locations:

➡️ Multnomah County East Bldg, 600 NE 8th ave, Gresham
➡️ St. Stephen’s Shelter, 1432 SW 13th ave, Portland

No one will be turned away.
Pets are welcome.

TriMet won’t turn away anyone who is going to a cooling space and who cannot otherwise pay their fare. Please tell your bus operator that you’re heading to or from a cooling center.
You can also call 2-1-1 for transportation help.

Multnomah County Library branches are open usual hours, EXCEPT the following branches will be open until 8 PM:

It's that time of the year again, folks!! Registration for our annual 5K Fun Run Fundraiser ( ) is open!! We can't wait for this fun-filled day, and we hope you join us! Details below.

Location: Gabriel Park, Portland, OR - or you can run it virtually, from anywhere!

ICYMI: CareOregon members who get care from an out-of-network behavioral health provider must switch to an in-network (or contracted) provider in order for CareOregon to continue paying for services.

Any CareOregon member who is impacted by this change will receive a letter in the mail by the end of August.
