Bob was connected to Cascadia Health after being diagnosed with schizophrenia. He began painting after being connected to Cascadia’s art therapy program and used painting as a way to process his emotions. Using a variety of painting instruments, Bob became a successful painter with his work hanging on walls all around the world.

For more than 20 years, Cascadia Health has provided problem gambling treatment—helping change lives, restore hope, and promote lasting recovery. This includes individual counseling, group therapy and other support groups, couples and family therapy, help for friends, and online counseling.

March is Problem Gambling Awareness Month, a time when we look to increase public awareness of problem gambling and promote prevention, treatment, and recovery services available locally and nationally. Here are some ways you can help:

📝 Screening Tools: Cascadia Health developed a quick and easy set of screening questions you can use to assess your relationship to gambling. In addition, there are many local and national screening tools and other resources available.

We are seeking candidates with one (or more) of these attributes:

🗸 Finance professionals
🗸 Healthcare professionals (e.g. hospital/health systems, FQHC/CCBHC)
🗸 People with experience in non-profit community behavioral health
🗸 People who use Cascadia services or who have a dependent family member who uses Cascadia services
🗸 Community members who are passionate about health, housing, and recovery services and who wish to further Cascadia’s mission and vision
