Float therapy can benefit aging adults by relieving joint and muscle pain, improving circulation, reducing stress and anxiety, and promoting better sleep. The weightless environment of the float tank takes pressure off the joints, while the magnesium in the Epsom salt can help relax muscles, and the deep relaxation helps reduce the body’s stress response. Our standard Float room and deluxe Float room have grab bars to help you in and out of the tank. Our showers are also equipped with a grab bar. Upon request we can equipped your room with nonslip mats and a shower chair.

Float therapy can aid addiction recovery by creating a deeply relaxing, sensory-deprived environment that promotes introspection, reduces stress, and helps disrupt habitual patterns of thought. This technique, also known as Restricted Environmental Stimulation Therapy (REST), is not a standalone cure but a complementary approach that can foster a more receptive state of mind for those on the recovery journey. The lack of external stimuli in a float tank allows for a deep connection with one’s inner self, which can be crucial for understanding and processing the root causes of addiction.

Floating can play a supportive role before and after big events like a marathon. Pre-event, it offers deep rest, a powerful, visualization, space, and muscle relaxation to help you feel fresh and focused at the starting line. Post race, floating can assist with muscle recovery, inflammation reduction, and overall stress relief– helping your body and mind bounce back after those long miles. Don’t just take our word for it, experience the difference yourself.

We are not all the creatures of the night. Some of us toss and turn desperate for sleep. Floating can help with insomnia, primarily by inducing a deep state of relaxation that addresses common root causes of sleep, disturbances, like stress, anxiety, and pain. Research indicates that regular Float sessions can improve sleep quality, and help you fall asleep, faster, and may have lasting effects for months. Our last float sessions of the day start at 8 PM. A good opportunity for you to float and then head right to bed.
