🔈The Oregon Health Authority has officially declared a measles outbreak in Oregon. Measles is the most contagious infectious disease- respiratory droplets from an infected person can stay in the air for up to 2 hours after they have left, and can infect up to 90% of unprotected people in close contact 😷

PANW is closely monitoring the outbreak and taking precautions to make sure all our patients are cared for safely. The MMR vaccine, a 2-dose series, is the best way to protect your family from measles. We strongly encourage patients to schedule an appointment if they have not received their MMR vaccine. It is routinely given in our office at 12-month and 24-month well checks 🩺. Vaccine records can be checked through the Patient Portal.

📱Patients who have been exposed or who have symptoms of measles should call our office to speak with a triage nurse before coming into the office to avoid exposing other patients.

Just this week, PANW's Dr. Jay Rosenbloom reached a big milestone- 18 gallons of blood donated to the Red Cross 🤩 He has been donating regularly since he was a young child, and his daughters have joined him in making a difference too.

Thank you so much to everyone who donated items to our temporary food pantries at each office! Every contribution made a meaningful difference. We are proud to be part of a community that shows up for one another 💚

🍞🌽🥫🫘 Almost all of the donations were brought home by patient families in need, and the last few remaining items were brought to a local food bank.
