Meet Desiree Serrano, LAc. Desiree is a double-board certified acupuncturist who brings a holistic, integrative approach to healing that combines traditional healing principles with evidence-based care. Her clinical focus is rooted in Psychoneuroimmunology, which explores how the mind, nervous system, and immune system interact to influence health. This perspective allows her to support patients facing complex conditions such as autoimmune disorders, chronic pain, gut imbalances, mental health challenges, and women’s health concerns.

She is committed to creating a safe and compassionate space where individuals feel truly seen, heard, and supported. Desiree believes that feeling safe in your body is not a luxury; it is the foundation of healing. To support this, she uses a gentle yet effective needling technique that helps calm the nervous system and activates the body’s natural capacity for repair. By addressing both the emotional and physical roots of illness, she helps shift not only symptoms but the entire landscape of the body toward greater balance and resilience.

Desiree will be getting credentialed with all major insurance companies, for now she can see CHP, CHUSA, Cash, Motor Vehicle Accident, and Cupping patients.

A few weeks back, we welcomed our newest Licensed Massage Therapist to the team, Graey Vincent! 👏👏👏

Graey is a non-binary, filipino-American with an M.S in Yoga Therapy and a License in Massage Therapy.

Graey uses both modalities to inform treatment plans that help reduce, manage, and eliminate symptoms of suffering within the biopsychosocial self. A typical session with Graey may include Myofascial Release Techniques, Swedish Relaxation, Traditional Thai, Sports Massage, Deep Tissue, or PNF work.

Outside of the wellness world Graey enjoys rock climbing, sand volleyball, and competitive pole dancing. They grew up on the Gulf Coast beaches, but their favorite part about living in the Pacific Northwest is the opportunity to relax during rainy days and breathe in fresh mountain air. Graey often feels most alive and connected when hiking, slack-lining, or practicing yoga.

You can book with them at our Broadway location on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Saturdays. They are currently taking CHP, MVA, Chusa, and cash payment—and are in the process of getting credentialed with all other insurance companies we accept!

Dr. Kristy Arneson, DC, LMT became interested in the wholistic healthcare world after a sports injury. She realized the importance of hands-on treatments like chiropractic and massage and how interconnected the body is. She started massage school with a focus in sports massage, trigger points, and myofascial release. Kristy truly treats the body with the understanding of how the muscles can affect the joints and vice-versa. She views the body as a whole and understands that more than the site of pain can be contributing to the issues at hand.

Zen Space is so excited to announce we have a new LMT, Meg on the team! 🥳

Meg’s journey into massage therapy was shaped by their lifelong experience with chronic pain and nervous system dysregulation. Regular bodywork profoundly transformed their quality of life, ultimately inspiring them to become a Licensed Massage therapist. Now, they feel truly honored to share this healing practice, guiding others on their own path to wellness.

They integrate myofascial release, deep tissue, and Swedish massage techniques with a holistic approach influenced by their studies in Thai massage, Craniosacral therapy, and their personal mindfulness practice. Their work is deeply intuitive, meditative, and relaxing, with a focus on supporting the nervous system just as much as the musculoskeletal system to promote lasting healing and restoration. Rooted in inclusivity, their practice is trauma-informed, neurodivergent, and LGBTQ+ affirming, ensuring a safe, welcoming, and accommodating space for all.

Outside of their practice, they enjoy reading, nature walks, and landscape photography, as well as sharing coffee with friends, listening to podcasts, and studying astrology. They find joy in camping, birding, hiking, and picnicking—any opportunity to connect with the natural world. They value curiosity, growth, compassion, sustainability, and creativity in all aspects of life.

We’re overjoyed to have Meg join the team, and for you all to meet them too!

Portland - we’ve been blessed with a beautiful blanket of fresh snow today! While we are in awe, we also want to be very mindful of our roads when frigid weather occurs. So for the safety of our practitioners and patients, we have cancelled all of our patient appointments for 2/13 and 2/14. If you have received a call or text, please reach back out to us at your earliest convenience to reschedule your appointments!
