I decided to end the raffle for a few days early because I’m getting second surgery on my ankle in June and wanted to give the winner time to schedule their massage before I go out on medical leave. We raised $150 for my favorite place in Portland and I’m so very grateful to everyone who bought a raffle ticket. I’ve really enjoyed doing these massage raffles and I look forward to doing another one in the fall. If you haven’t checked out Leach Botanical Garden yet, now is the time. Spring and summer are fabulous times in the garden.

I’m doing another raffle, this time for Leach Botanical Garden. is one of my favorite places in all of Portland. I’ve been a member for years and I can’t express how much it means to me. It’s at risk of closing down due to the city of Portland not renewing their grant. So to try to help, I’m rattling off a 90 min massage at $10 a ticket. If I sell a lot, I’ll raffle off 2 massages! Tickets can be purchased through Venmo, PayPal, or Cashapp. I’m mossyadventure on all platforms. I also encourage everyone to go visit the garden and experience the magic of Leach for yourself!

Anyone else put special friends in their plants? This plant is named Miranda after my bestie with two specials given to me by her- one from Mongolia and one from Santa Fe. Miranda the peace lily is currently thriving and bringing great vibes to the massage room.

Closing out my last massage of the year on such a beautiful day. It’s wild to think this lil space has been opened for 7 months now. Reflecting on all the twists and turns, ups and downs of this year and feeling so grateful to have come through it feeling supported and hopeful. Thanks to everyone who’s gotten a massage in this room in 2025. Looking forward to more cozy massages in 2026!

I’m taking a mini stay-cation after today to chill out, work on some pottery for the upcoming winter markets, and eat lots of food with my baby. I’ll see y’all in December! Happy Thanksgiving! Remember to shop small and shop local this weekend. Gift certificates available on my scheduling site!

Before giving the Yung Pueblo book “Inward” to a client today, I was skimming through it for the first time since reading it a few years ago. I came upon this passage that felt very true to where I’m at right now in life and what I’m trying to do as a massage therapist and a person. A good friend gave me this book and it felt right passing it on to a client I love and who I’ve become very close with over the last six or so years.

The massage room is looking real cute these days. My lovely, kind partner put up these rad LED battery powered wall lamps for me this week and they look so good. Plus these macrame wall hangings by are still serving and giving the room life. Love seeing this space come into its own little by little over the months and feeling so grateful for this cute ass room. Come see it for yourself!

The massage room got another amazing upgrade from the extremely talented . She made my other blue macrame hanging in the room and now I’ve got this beauty really tying the room together. I’m obsessed! Thank you so much Clare!! I love you! ❤️

I got to see my good friend at his beautiful, new office at Revolution Hall today and got an amazing (and much needed) adjustment. Even tho we no longer work together, we still work as a team when seeing the same clients. His insights have helped to shape my bodywork for the last nine years and have helped make me a better and more effective massage therapist. If you’re in need of a good chiropractor, please check out Dr Russ. His gentle, myofascial approach is so incredible and healing. And his new space is really rad!
