On March 16th, we will celebrate 10 years of Wild Reed 💛

Ten years of first classes and shaky poses, of tears in savasana, milestones honored, grief softened, friendships formed. So much life has unfolded on these floors - all because you kept showing up to your mat.

From our beginnings as Modo Yoga Portland to who we are now as Wild Reed Yoga, this space has always been built by you. Your presence. Your vulnerability. Your commitment.

Starting March 5th
🗓 Thursdays at 4PM

This class fuses classical Pilates principles with dynamic sculpting exercises to build strength, tone, and endurance. Using bodyweight, light weights, and props like bands & sliders, you’ll move through targeted sequences designed to fire up your core, sculpt lean muscles, and improve posture.

Expect an upbeat, full-body workout that blends precision, control, and flow - leaving you feeling strong, lengthened, and energized.

✨ Website + Booking Update ✨

Just a heads up, Portland yoga community! Tomorrow is the last day our current website will be live.

Starting Thursday, January 15, you’ll find us at wildreedyoga.com, and class bookings will happen directly through the website until our new app is up and running (we’ll keep you posted when that’s ready!).

Important for tomorrow:
We’ll be making our software switch, so the schedule will not be accessible for sign-ups.If you’re not pre-registered for class, please just show up and we’ll check you in the old-fashioned way with pen and paper.

Thank you in advance for allowing a few extra minutes for check-in and for your patience as we make this transition. If you have any questions about the change, please email us: info@wildeedyoga.com. We’re so grateful for you and can’t wait to share what’s next 💛

Holly is moving onto her next adventure and we wish her only the best! Holly has been at the forefront of O’Vive Cafe when we took over the space over a year ago! She has been an amazing leader, innovator and collaborator and we will miss her infectious bright smile and warm disposition! Thank you, Holly for paving the way and setting the bar high at O’Vive! Shamrock Smoothie:
Avocado, spinach, mint, honey, yogurt and oat milk

Veggie Toast:

Spring weather is here this week! ☀️ Reminder that not only do we have an indoor bike rack, but if you walk, bike, or take public transit to the studio, your mat rental is on us! Just let someone know at the desk when you’re checking in for class, and we’ll lend you a mat for practice!

Our Story

Modo hot yoga is a unique yoga series that combines the precision of therapeutic yoga and the foundations of traditional yoga in a specially heated room. The series is a cardiovascular workout that strengthens, tones and loosens the muscles, while calming the mind and reducing stress.

The 'hot' in hot yoga allows for deep, safe stretching and promotes detoxification of the skin, blood and muscles through sweat. Every class orients students to everyday vitality and long term health. Most classes are suitable for all levels of ability, even ABSOLUTE beginners with limited flexibility!
