"It’s always about doing the right thing, at the right time, for the right reasons,” shares Mark Ganz Ethics Award winner and Manager of Clinical Pharmacy Services Shirley Reitz, Pharm.D., RPh.

As the daughter of a nurse and a pharmacist, Shirley has a unique understanding of what it means to be committed to ethics in the world of health care. She watched her father open his pharmacy every Sunday, on his only day off, to make sure his customers who couldn’t come in during the week got the prescriptions they needed.

In her time at Cambia, Shirley has consistently exemplified our values and shown immense dedication to integrity and honesty in her work, sharing insights about the health care landscape, pharmacy trends, and cost stewardship strategies.

Please join us in celebrating Shirley and congratulating her on this honor! 🎉

Please join us in congratulating Leah Lorincz and Allison Johnson, our Oregon Clinical Consulting team, for being named this year’s winners of the “Be Results Driven” Cambia Value Award.

Allison and Leah work to provide our Oregon Sales team with the tools they need to support their customers, and continually exceed customer expectations with their drive, attention to detail, dedication and responsiveness.

Award recipient Leah Lorincz shares, “…I like to think of problems as being opportunities. It’s trying to analyze what is the problem, and what is it that we can do to actually solve that problem, and maybe even excel beyond what that initial expectation will be."

“To be able to shift and pivot, and affect change from within the inside, to be a guerilla bureaucrat…has been inspiring,” shares Noelle Redmond, Assistant Director, Clinical Pharmacy Services and winner of the Cambia Value Award for Courage.

Since Noelle joined Cambia over 12 years ago, she’s been committed to doing the right thing for her team and our members. She doesn’t shy away from asking tough questions, works hard to find solutions and advocates for others. With her background as a pharmacist focusing on infectious disease and HIV care, she pulls from her clinical experience to challenge the norms of pharmacy practice and focus on the experience of our members.

We’re proud to recognize Noelle with this honor. Please join us in congratulating her in the comments!

“Being innovative, to me, means not being afraid to fail. Trying and failing and trying again,” says Erin Bruce, Medicare Pharmacy Senior Manager and winner of the Cambia Value Award for Innovation.

In her short time at Cambia, Erin has already made a major difference in the lives of the people we serve. As the architect of our Pharmacy Engagement Program, Erin’s work has strengthened relationships between provider groups and our network management and clinical teams. “We can’t serve people we don’t know, so by helping people in our community, we get to know them better,” shares Saavedra Gonzales, Internal Audit Tech Data Analyst and this year’s winner of the Cambia Value Award for Inclusiveness.

In her 15 years at Cambia, Saavedra has been a true embodiment of our value “Be Inclusive,” from co-founding the Home of Latinxs and Allies Employee Resource Group (HOLA ERG) to starting a grassroots mentorship program in partnership with other ERG members. She and her cofounders saw that people wanted mentors but didn’t know how to connect with one, so they set up a working plan and pilot tapping into their extensive internal network to ensure diverse representation from across the company.

Saavedra has made Cambia a more inclusive and connected place to be. We’re thrilled to recognize her with this honor, please join us in congratulating her in the comments!
