Wellness Dental is looking for a friendly, motivated and reliable person to join our growing team as a full time dental assistant/sterile tech. The is 36-40 hrs per week with some flexibility. Experience using Dentrix a plus but not required.

Hygiene Assistant duties include but not limited to:
Perio charting
Breakdown and setup ops
Sterilization

Wellness Dental is a general dental practice looking to hire a dental sterile technician/assistant. The duties of this position include but are not limited to sterilizing instruments, sterilize and set up operatories, assist with hygienist such as periodontal charting, stocking operatories and more.

The position is best for someone who is organized, follows direction, ability to work at a quick pace and follow company and OSHA protocols to maintain and ensure a clean and sterile environment.

This is an entry level position, no experience necessary! We offer on the job training with an opportunity to grow. Radiology experience is a plus but not required. Hours will be Monday through Thursday 8am to 5pm. If you want to work in a positive, upbeat, enjoyable environment and feel this would be a good fit, please submit your resume. We have been monitoring the COVID-19 virus very closely the last several weeks. We have always taken universal precautions in patient care, meaning that all surfaces in treatment rooms are disinfected between patients, and anything used on patients is either discarded after use or sterilized. In the last few weeks, we began additional measures of disinfecting all surfaces in the reception area, front desk, and patient restroom several times per day, and we have removed reading materials from our waiting area.

We have made the difficult decision to temporarily close our office beginning March 17th, 2020 to assist with flattening the spread of the virus. As of now we are planning a two week closure but it is subject to change as this evolves. We will continue patient communication through email and phone messages multiple times a day (remotely). If you are experiencing a true dental emergency you may email, leave a message or call the emergency line and someone will get back to you within 1 hour.

It is important that we help protect each other and work together by responding to this pandemic. We wish you and your family good health during this time and appreciate your patience and understanding. -Wellness Dental
