It is based on the Qing dynasty remedy Jiajian Su He Tang (Perilla and Mint Decoction Modified), and represents a time-honored solution for the important clinical phenomenon of “Brain Gu Syndrome”: treatment resistant diseases caused by infections of the nervous system.
