We’ll gather in circle, guided by the gentle spirit of ceremonial cacao to soften, open, and awaken the wisdom within. You’ll use your sacred breath to gently activate your fires of the heart, then I’ll invite you to lay down to receive as you experience a releasing Limpia with the powers of a fresh herbal barrida (energetic sweep) vibrational tuning forks, song and more.

🌿A Limpia is a traditional folk medicine practice of cleansing and healing to restore your auric field, helping you to find release and balance.

Somewhere in your lineage there were women who healed with plants and sang under the moon.

On this last full moon in August, give gratitude to the plants and to the ancestors. Gather flowers and or an herbal sprigs, say a prayer or well wishes into them, and then offer it to the moon in bowl of water. Let it sit over night to soak up the luminance of the moonlight. The next morning wash your face with it, or just drink the essence. Or both! Be sure your plant is edible :)

These hands have held hundreds of hearts over this summer. They have dug deep into the Earth, they have cleansed in the waters, they have kept fires burning, and they have felt the winds upon them, carrying the songs and the prayers of my ancestors. These old hands, they have tended, they have held, they have planted seeds.

My summer sessions are coming to a close, I have been honored and grateful for those who have sat with me to release and restore their vessels.

I’ll be attending as a facilitator next week. This sweet campout will host 300 sisters! Im ready to get wild in the woods with them:)

I’ll be offering Limpias on the rivers edge, if you are there come see me by the walking bridge, I would be honored to tend to you as well🌿🌼✨

When I return my friend Josie and I are hosting a cacao ceremony with breathwork, song, and Limpias too. There are few spots left and you can find out more via the Make & Mary site.

I’m honored to welcome fellow curandera, Josie Castaneda, visiting from Miami to share a special cacao from Peru. Together, we’ll weave a journey through song, breath, and energy clearing—returning to the pulse of presence.

Are You Spiraling?🌀⁠

There was a moment in my life when I felt like I just wanted to be left alone. To go within and find the quieter parts of myself. To really listen inward.⁠
⁠
I think it was a strong pull during my peri-menopause years. And now, I’ve developed a practice around it — a morning ritual where I sit beneath my Grandmother Cedar tree, drink cacao, and just listen.⁠
⁠
Being in an urban environment, it’s easy to get distracted by all the noise. But if you can tune in — to the bird in the distance, to the wind circling around you — the practice becomes easier. The messages become clearer.⁠
⁠
The spiral symbol is found everywhere in nature. It’s a gentle guide that reminds us that life isn’t a straight line. It curves, loops, and circles back, inviting us to grow while returning to ourselves again and again — each time with a little more wisdom, a little more heart.⁠
⁠
It represents the journey inward and outward — the unfolding of our soul. It shows up when you’re shedding old layers, moving through change, or deepening into your truth. It’s also a symbol of feminine energy, of cycles and rhythms, of intuition and flow. The spiral reminds us that the universe doesn’t rush — it turns, it opens, it trusts the process.⁠

Maybe you can relate to what I’m saying? No matter where you are on this journey, no matter how much noise is thrown at us, we can always go within and gently uncoil toward the activating light of our truth.
