Hui Lin Meditation Center
Founded by Xinghai Master (Guru) in 2006, Hui Lin Meditation Center is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization dedicated to the teaching and cultivation of the overall health of one’s body, mind and spirit. The word “Hui” (慧) means that all the meditation practitioners who have heard or practiced the teachings will attain profound wisdom. "Lin" (霖) means that the Dharma and teachings will benefit all sentient beings as nectar showering the earth.
The Center holds regular Dharma ceremonies and non-religious activities to promote the wellness for all in the Portland community. The non-religious activities include meditation workshops and special nutrition and self help teachings by Guru. Guru received his doctoral degree in the US and practices as a licensed TCM (Traditional Chinese Medicine) doctor in the US. Guru specializes in the research and treatments for cancers, diabetes, cerebrovascular heart diseases, depression and many other hard to cure diseases, with near 30 years of clinical treatment experiences.
The Center also hosts cooking classes and sponsors regular community service activities open to public.
