Stepping onto Portland’s MAX light rail 🚊, participants in 𝐀𝐥𝐛𝐞𝐫𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐚 𝐊𝐞𝐫𝐫’𝐬 𝐈𝐧𝐜𝐥𝐮𝐬𝐢𝐯𝐞 𝐃𝐚𝐲 𝐒𝐞𝐫𝐯𝐢𝐜𝐞𝐬 𝐔𝐩𝐬𝐤𝐢𝐥𝐥𝐬 𝐩𝐫𝐨𝐠𝐫𝐚𝐦 are building confidence with every stop.

At Kerr’s Inclusive Day Services: 𝘗𝘢𝘵𝘩𝘴 𝘵𝘰 𝘊𝘰𝘮𝘮𝘶𝘯𝘪𝘵𝘺, cooking classes are more than just making a meal—they’re opportunities for 𝐜𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐯𝐢𝐭𝐲, 𝐜𝐨𝐥𝐥𝐚𝐛𝐨𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧, and 𝐡𝐚𝐧𝐝𝐬-𝐨𝐧 𝐥𝐞𝐚𝐫𝐧𝐢𝐧𝐠.

In a recent class, the group decided on a bold and flavorful dish: 𝘣𝘭𝘢𝘤𝘬𝘦𝘯𝘦𝘥 𝘤𝘩𝘪𝘤𝘬𝘦𝘯 𝘸𝘪𝘵𝘩 𝘵𝘰𝘮𝘢𝘵𝘰𝘦𝘴 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘷𝘦𝘨𝘦𝘵𝘢𝘣𝘭𝘦𝘴. From selecting ingredients to completing each step of the recipe, everyone had a hand in the process.

Staff supported along the way, but it was the participants who led—practicing 𝐝𝐞𝐜𝐢𝐬𝐢𝐨𝐧-𝐦𝐚𝐤𝐢𝐧𝐠 and 𝐜𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐯𝐞 𝐩𝐫𝐨𝐛𝐥𝐞𝐦-𝐬𝐨𝐥𝐯𝐢𝐧𝐠 to create a delicious dish.

🎃👻 Halloween came early this year at Albertina Kerr!

One of the individuals we support had a blast ringing in his July birthday his way—with a full-on Halloween celebration.

Haunted house vibes, spooky décor, and not one, but two Halloween-themed cakes made it a party to remember. 🎂🎂 Halloween is his favorite holiday—and this birthday bash was everything he hoped for.

Our Inclusive Day Services program – 𝘗𝘢𝘵𝘩𝘴 𝘵𝘰 𝘊𝘰𝘮𝘮𝘶𝘯𝘪𝘵𝘺 – recently saddled up for a day of fun at Rascal Rodeo in Molalla, Oregon.

For 15 years, Rascal Rodeo has been producing adaptive rodeos for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities, ensuring everyone can take part in the excitement of the arena.

Our group had a fantastic time riding and engaging with the horses—it was a meaningful day of connection and fun.
