Participants in our Inclusive Day Services program had a wonderful time exploring the immersive art rooms at Hopscotch Portland, all thanks to the generosity of our supporters.

Outings like this give the people Kerr supports a chance to connect with the community, try new ways to express themselves, and enjoy a special experience.

We’re excited to welcome Moana Newman as our Vice President of Development & Community Engagement.

Moana brings more than 25 years of experience strengthening nonprofit programs that support youth and families.

In her role at Kerr, she will lead fundraising initiatives, community partnerships, and donor engagement to expand and enhance our person-centered services for the people we support.

Jaden came to Kerr with an I/DD and a mental health diagnosis, facing challenges that typical systems are not built to address together. With person-centered, trauma-informed supports, he found stability and a path forward.

November 29th marks 50 years since the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act (IDEA) was passed.

In 1975, only about 20% of children with disabilities attended public school. IDEA changed this by guaranteeing every child the right to free and appropriate public education.

At Kerr, we continue this legacy by advocating for our youth to have access to meaningful education supports at their local school.
