We were thrilled to host the Every County Marketing Exchange (ECME) October meeting at our office this month! provides education, support, and networking opportunities for in Multnomah, Washington, and Clackamas counties.

October's topic was "All About Death" featuring End-of-Life Doula Kilie Crowley and Deborah Threadgill of Threadgill's Memorial Services LLC.

Housecall Providers and CareOregon were honored to once again be a sponsor of Gifted Wishes Foundation's Honor the Journey Gala, where all proceeds go towards granting last wishes for patients. Such an inspiring evening supporting our valued partner with whom we share a deep connection and dedication to honoring the end-of-life journey.

Housecall Providers Hospice Director Richard Holman and Hospice Social Worker Matthew Kern proudly serve on Gifted Wishes' Board of Directors, and our entire team will continue to support their mission in bringing comfort, joy, and dignity to those facing their final days.

Last week we held our 30th anniversary celebration, Works of Heart, at The Old Church Concert Hall in Portland. It was a beautiful night spent honoring our patients, employees, and community, through art and storytelling.

Six artists each met with one of our patients to listen to their stories and create an original piece of art that reflected their journeys.

A heartfelt thank you to the Works of Heart artists, Jordan Henline and 88.8 Film and Photography, Leah Kohlenberg, Latoya Lovely and James Lovely, Susannah Mars, Jessica Wallenfels, Reece Marshburn, and last but certainly not least, Works of Heart Artistic Director Marianna Thielen. Your inspired pieces were the heart and soul of this event, and we are so grateful for your support of our mission.

Thank you to our participating patients and their families - your stories moved us beyond words, and we can't thank you enough for being part of this incredible milestone celebration.

Thank you to The Old Church Concert Hall and your entire staff for your unwavering support, both leading up to and throughout our event. We are so grateful for your partnership.

Thank you to Le Petit Bistro for your phenomenal catering and service.

To our patients' families and loved ones who gathered with us for our annual memorial and butterfly release—thank you. Your presence reminded us of the strength found in community and the comfort of shared remembrance. 🦋

Together, we paused to reflect, to honor, and to celebrate lives that continue to shape our hearts. The stories shared, the quiet moments held, and the beauty of the butterflies in flight reminded us of the enduring bonds we carry.

We offer team-based primary care wherever you call home, hospice services for both our primary care patients and other adults in the Portland metro area, and community-based palliative care support for seriously ill members enrolled in Medicaid through our advanced illness care program.
