🌟 September is Sickle Cell Awareness Month. According to the CDC, over 100,000 Americans live with sickle cell disease (CDC), a condition that affects red blood cells and overall health. Globally, WHO estimates the disease impacts millions of people, with the highest prevalence in sub-Saharan Africa, the Middle East, and India.

We stand with patients, families, and advocacy organizations such as (Sickle Cell Disease Association of America) in the U.S. and many others worldwide to raise awareness and support sickle cell warriors.

Through our Gazelle device, we are proud to contribute to global efforts in early screening and testing. 🔬

🩸 Today we celebrate International Thalassemia Day — a time to raise awareness, support patients and families, and advocate for better care around the world.

Thalassemia is a genetic blood disorder that can lead to severe anemia and other complications if left undiagnosed or untreated. For some, early detection and treatment are critical to survival. Through early screening, individuals living with thalassemia can lead longer, healthier lives.

At Hemex Health, we’re proud to support efforts that expand access to affordable, point-of-care diagnostics—empowering frontline healthcare workers to identify thalassemia earlier and connect patients to the care they need.

Let’s continue working together to build a future where every child is screened, every patient is supported, and no one is left behind.

🔍 Early detection saves lives.

❤️ Support thalassemia communities worldwide.

This World Health Day, we highlight the power of early detection. 🌍🩸

According to the World Health Organization, over 2 million babies die in their first month of life. Newborn screening for conditions like sickle cell disease (SCD) is a lifesaving first step to ensure that children receive the care they need from day one.

At Hemex Health, we are committed to advancing affordable, accessible diagnostics to help identify SCD early and give every child a healthier start in life. Together, we can save these precious lives and build a healthier future for all.
