Five years ago, I began writing a book because I couldn’t stop asking one question:

"What am I doing here on this planet?"

The words that poured out became a love letter for anyone who has ever felt lost, disconnected, or aching to remember who they truly are. This book isn’t just meant to be read—it’s meant to be lived. Earlier this year, I finished the manuscript. (Even typing that feels surreal.)

Dear One,

The other night I had what I can only describe as a medicine dream.

I was speaking with a Tibetan Buddhist nun—not much older than me, yet radiantly evolved. She had students boarding a bus for what seemed like a field trip, but instead of going with them, she stayed behind to sit with me. Not to lecture or guide from a pedestal—but to truly know me. She asked questions about my life and was genuinely curious about my story and experience.

That, in itself, was extraordinary.

In my past dreams, spiritual figures have often been male—distant, disapproving, or just out of reach. I’m usually striving to earn their attention. But she wasn’t like that. She was warm, curious, present. She made me feel like I belonged in her presence. Like I was already enough.

At one point, I started to feel anxious about the field trip—Was I supposed to go? Was I going to miss the bus?
She smiled and said,
“Don’t worry. They’ll come get you when the bus arrives.”

The past few months have been mythical.

It’s a soft place in a loud world.

Each letter is a gentle offering:
a poetic reflection,
a whisper from the stars,
a journal prompt to guide you home to yourself.

This first letter weaves together my personal myth, the goddess Persephone, the wise elder Hecate, and the work I feel called to do in this unraveling time.

A Story of Connection

Katrina Nilsson-Gorman is a survivor, multipotentialite and innovator. She is not a therapist or a life coach--what she brings to the plate is something entirely new.

The programs she developed come entirely from years of seeing therapists, doctors, life coaches, gurus, you name it--recognizing what worked and what didn't work. More than anything, she has a passion for connection--deep connection to one's true self, connection to an unconditionally loving community and connection to the natural environment. A life-long devotee of the arts, nature, and personal growth/exploration, she comes with a curious melange of talents, gifts and offerings. Having traversed the globe in search of interesting and successful healing modalities, she came back to the US in 2014 as a Reiki Master.
