This moon turned 8 last week. She is in that place of one moment she is a pr***en and the next a kid. I’m grasping onto the kid as much as I can, but trying to support her growth and change, I didn’t know they grow up this early 😩!
This year we saw the northern lights, the painted hills, sadly lost a grandparent, gained a set of braces. She is still full of an extraordinary amount of chi, extremely active, fiercely loves her friends, is an extrovert, and overall a happy kid. We took a detour into a villain era where all she wore was black, but now we’re back as a Taylor Swift loving Hermione Granger fan. She does Jiu Jitsu, snowboarding, softball, and Water Polo. Loves makeup and girly things, snakes and reptiles, riding her bike, her friends, school, the snow and the summer, and traveling. She is kind, smart, very strong willed, and she is trying to find her footing into her independence.
As her parent I know I mess up, but I hope she feels safe, secure, loved, and that she can be her authentic self. And that she remembers as much as possible that she is a being of divine love. #🌙ru
