Injuries can be frustrating and confusing. I’ve recovered from several setbacks from injuries sustained as a professional ballet dancer in NYC as well as health circumstances: a double mastectomy in 2014; a discotomy in 2018; and abdominal surgery in 1990. Each journey back to health has given me priceless experience which no workshop, training, or university could possibly give.
