🥳What an incredible weekend. Remembering the amazing education that came through this CE weekender: if you missed them before: new classes are being offered Sept 13.

East West is all about elevating the Education of massage therapist through both our 800 credit hour program and incredible CE’s!!

🙏This weekend we were excited to host Alex Susbauer and Jonathan Primack of .

These two go above and beyond to fill the class experience with
✨engaging,
✨elevating,
✨and profoundly useful tools to enhance your practice as a massage therapist

In this two day class, they covered the anatomy and kinesiology of the muscles of the pelvis, and upper leg- and sheesh from the demos, to the table time, so the class assessment discussions everyone left the room standing a little taller, more grounded, and re-energized in their own practice.

Beyond just an understanding of the structure, what integration nation bodywork brings to the table is an expert eye of assessing the root cause of the patterns that the body holds.

These two are a wealth of knowledge, engaging, hilarious, and models of what it looks like to elevate, not only our practice individually, but the practice of massage therapy collectively. Ending Mindless Bodywork one therapist at a time.

🤗there is no post that can do the magic of this class justice, but take a little sneak peek into what a weekend with Alex and Jonathan looks like.

A common question that we get in the admissions process is what about financial aid?

The dean has the very best advice in this video. If you are looking to apply for or use federal financial aid,

Step 1-we do need you to fill out the FAFSA before we will have any of your information to be able to answer your specific financial questions. We understand that it might feel like a big step, but truly the website is meant to be user-friendly and we believe in you!

What other questions would you like the Dean to answer. Drop them in the comments or feel free to DM us.

What is race?
What is culture?
How can you be more aware and prepared to offer the best care you can as an LMT when people come to you that

Look different
We’re Raised Differently
Identify and are living culturally different than you

How do we move beyond assumptions and levels of discomfort to embrace others that come to us for healing touch?

Maco Monthervil of is a first generation Haitian American LMT, that is skilled in both communication of these ideas and profound empathy and kindness to create space to not guarantee safety but to aim for a grace filled, engaging space to become aware of implicit bias, and find new ways of engaging with our clients of other cultures, genders, races, religions etc.

This class is a must for all LMT’s that are ready to up level our level of care.

His next class will fill up, so don’t wait :)
September 28- see you there.

Why do you think it’s important for LMT’s to be trained in cultural awareness practices? We’d love to hear your thoughts.

Ending Mindless Bodywork is more than a catchphrase, it is a mission that East West continues to strive to facilitate this in our profession, with our students, and in our community. We do this by having the very best instructors and CE teachers.

Alex and Jonathan of have made this mission their vision in the work that they do- and the wisdom they share in their continuing education classes taught here at East West.

To help you feel confident, excited, resourced when you are with your clients.

Continuing education is more than a requirement for license renewal, it is a way that we as LMT’s can be part of elevating the client experience and profession as a necessary form of health care.

If you are needing some CE’s or are desiring to sharpen your skills in class as a student Integrative Bodywork will be coming back to teach the lower leg, ankle and foot CE September 13-14! 👏

✨ we understand that cost can be a factor, so all CE’s over $100 can be paid in payment plan leading up to the class itself. You can reserve your spot today and start making payments towards the class so you are ready for September. Link in bio to register
