Meet our Cedar Hills Clinic Director, Dr. Kent Achtyes. He graduated 🎓 from in 1987. Finishing really long bicycle 🚲 rides like Seattle to Portland and 8-10 “Centurys” (100 mile rides) per year is near the top of Kent’s interest/hobby list. And if the ride includes mountains (The High Pass Challenge, The Triple Bypass, RAMROD)… even better! Close second on the list is traveling with family (beautiful wife Trang, son Sean, dog Elsa), music (trying to find the perfect stereo image sweet spot and some guitar 🎸 playing attempts), photography 📸 and generally staying active - mostly at the gym. He grew up in Denver seeing the chiropractor every month thanks to mom and dad‘s direction. Started college with a Business Management - Premed double major… that’s a really big academic load! After conversations with his Denver, chiropractor, he dropped most Business Management classes and focused on Premed… glad he did! The Business Management classes really helped with running his own office for 30+ years!

With 30+ years of clinical practice that focuses on personal injury/car crash patients is very rewarding but it requires wearing the “attorney hat” most of the time… He’s looking forward to wearing the “doctor hat” only from now on!
