Facebook is ridiculous. Trying to update my “about” information and it literally will not let me do it. Also unable to update my business name. And, trying to update my employment history and it does not recognize actual companies that were created by me or other acupuncturists, so I cannot add where I work. It’s gotta be corporate for Facebook to acknowledge it. So lame.

🍃 Booking now for *Maine* herbal telehealth consults! 🍃

In 2020, I spent several months of herbal clinic prescribing herbs to patients via telehealth (in addition to two quarters in person in the months before lockdown) and overall prescribed 217 herbal formulas. I took a western pharmacology class and studied herb-drug and herb-herb interactions.

I personally love taking decocted bulk raw herbs so that I can drink my herbs throughout the day, but sometimes opt for the convenience of premade patents ( herbal pills are my favorites). There are so many options!

Chinese herbal formulas are based on the traditional and ancient Materia Medica of single herbs and formulas, now being studied through an extensive pharmacological lens (thank you, Dr. Chen and colleagues). Each bulk or granule formula is based on a classic formula that can be uniquely modified for each individual.
