"In this nationwide cohort study, we found that the current use of antidepressants was associated with faster cognitive decline in patients with dementia compared with non-use, and this association was driven mainly by patients with severe dementia. Higher dispensed doses of SSRIs were associated with more cognitive decline dur- ing follow-up, and higher risk of severe dementia, fracture, and all-cause mortality."

Interesting testing findings for those trying to maintain a glyphosate-free, and/or gluten-free diet.

Moms Across America has tested 46 samples of gluten-free foods, including bread, pasta, crackers, snacks, flour, dessert mixes, and chips for glyphosate/AMPA, 236 pesticides, minerals, and gluten. The results are disturbing and affect at least 20 million people who eat gluten-free food in America.

This video was recorded last winter with Ross McCallum, LAc. We made this video as part of a series of videos I recorded for educating the public about our work. We discuss the applications and modalities of Chinese Medicine and elaborate on the depth and breadth of how Chinese Medicine is used beyond just acupuncture. Some of those modalities are the non-needling treatment of infants (pediatric Tuina and Shonishin), manual/ massage therapies such as Tuina and Sotai, Chinese herbal medicine, women's health, aging populations health, nutrition therapy as well as the most commonly known use, which is acupuncture for musculoskeletal pain. We also discuss some of the differences we see in the field of acupuncture in the US versus the scope and practice of medicine in China, all in the hopes of bringing about a broader understanding and greater uptake of the medicine in our country.
