As a decision coach and facilitator, I help individuals and organizations think creatively about their decisions, solve problems and achieve goals effectively. Steps along the way include clarifying core goals and values; evaluating options; dealing with trade-offs, risks and uncertainties; developing smarter solutions; and implementing action plans. Specialties: career and lifestyle choices; academic achievement and productivity; time management, team decisions, strategic planning. Background: PhD in Applied Psychology, Professional License (MS) in Career Counseling from the University of Freiburg, Switzerland. Currently teaching Decision Making and Career Coaching at Portland State University and Marylhurst University, and giving post-graduate training courses for career counselors on decision aiding tools. Co-author of the book, “Heart and Mind: Mastering the Art of Decision Making,” published numerous peer-reviewed research articles in cognitive psychology, neuroscience, decision-making, and coaching techniques.
