Happy Day! Trump Health Care failed today. Good news for the elderly, middle class, and everyone. Premiums are high enough now but it would have been more if this went through. Medicare and Medicaid would have been hit hard and your pre-existing conditions would no longer be covered. Happy Day and thank you legislatures for listening to the people.

Need help fighting insurance to get claims paid or just get credentialed with an insurance company call BJ. Just finished fighting Blue Care Network to get a provider into network. Been fighting this for about 8 months. Finally was told that the provider did have enough patients to get into network and was told on May 23rd that the final paperwork was sent but did not know how quick it would go into effect, the representative put an expedition on it and when I got into the office on June 2nd there was a fax on my desk that the effective date was June 1st.

Don't forget about you New Year deductibles. Sunday night TV 8 had an investigation report about hospital bills and patients being responsible because insurance did not pay. If you come across this yourself or a family member or friend you may not have to be responsible. Call BJ to schedule a consultation.

Went this morning to Okemos for a Michigan Medical Billers Assoc. meeting. Learned something very interesting and want to pass on to let you pass on and understand something new about the new Healthcare Reform. Picture the progressive auto insurance commericals where you see other insurance companies and savings. Health insurance will be something like this only it will be on an exchange where there will be other health insurance companies listed and they will be rated and need to pass specific specifications to be listed and will show their ratings and savings on their premiums per certain classifications on copays and deductibles. There may be alot of insurances that will not be on that list and make the cut if they do not follow regulations but the providers also have certain things they have to do to help save you that money with the insurance companies or they may loose out also. Keep posted as I will be learning more and sharing. In May I have an all day training with the Michigan Medical Billers Association in Flint and part of that training will be on the Healthcare Reform.

I went to Ionia High School on Tuesday and helped with their Reality Store for the Freshman students. I enjoyed it and was glad to find that most of the students did a great job on their budgets and still had money left after their last table. I think it was a real eye opener for them and I really had a lot of fun helping with it.
