Dr. Melissa Rosenberg is thrilled to be hosting this dynamic and powerful weekend filled with healing, ministry, education, networking, and business opportunities, all in the beautiful backdrop of her hometown of Portland, Maine.
Dr. Melissa Rosenberg provides Clinical Mental Health Counseling to clients in need of support in the state of Maine. Dr. Rosenberg is a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor and Trauma Recovery Expert, specializing in the treatment of men and women who have endured trauma. She is fully trained and certified in Dr. Laurel Parnell’s School of Attachment Focused Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), as well as fully trained and certified by Dr. Marsha Linehan in Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT).
Dr. Rosenberg earned her BA in Psychology with a minor in Theatre at the University of Maine, her MA in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at The University of Southern Maine, (Summa Cum Laude), and her PhD at the University of Maine in Counselor Education, (Summa Cum Laude).
Dr. Rosenberg served as a full-time faculty member for six years at University of Southern Maine in the Counselor Education program, where she trained hundreds of Graduate Students in Clinical Mental Health Counseling and School Counseling. Dr. Rosenberg taught varied courses such as Multicultural Counseling, Human Development, Perspectives in Chemical Dependency, Crisis Counseling, as well as supervised Practicum and Internship Seminars.
Dr. Rosenberg’s lens in both her teaching and private practice is informed by neuroscience, trauma informed care, attachment theory, and EMDR and DBT treatment and research. Dr. Rosenberg enjoys working with clients who are excited and motivated to grow, learn, and practice new skills. Dr. Rosenberg aims to create a strong therapeutic alliance with her clients built upon safety, trust, and mutual respect and understanding.
Dr. Rosenberg recently opened up a Professional Coaching Business where she now sees clients virtually and globally. She is The Secure Attachment Coach, and her job is to help guide people into the understanding of the roots of the obstacles and barriers that are standing in their way, in order to heal in these areas, so they can fully embody their Divine Identity and step into their God given Purpose and Destiny.
Dr. Rosenberg is passionate about infusing her identity as a Christian into her work with clients, as she respects and honors each person’s faith journey. Dr. Rosenberg has a specific calling of working with Christian men and women, to help them identify and heal from past trauma, in order to fully step into the abundant life God has created them to live, both personally and professionally. Dr. Rosenberg actively brings the integration of faith based practices into therapeutic and coaching sessions with those clients who are interested in incorporating their faith into sessions.
Most recently, Dr. Rosenberg has partnered with a ten-year-old Ministry in Pakistan, where she is helping to build a Women's Outreach Program for women and girls living in poverty. This ministry provides women and girls with the love of Jesus through Bibles, teaching, prayer meetings, and meals. The first "Women's Fullness Conference" hosted by Dr. Rosenberg and Pastor Irfan Younas, was held in Pakistan on July 15th, 2023, in which over 1300 people were in attendance. During the conference, Dr. Rosenberg taught from the book of Esther, and shared the Gospel of Jesus Christ, and hundreds of Pakistani women and girls accepted Jesus as their Lord and Savior.
Dr. Rosenberg will be leading her second conference in Pakistan this month on January 20th, 2024 together with Evangelist Riffat Shahid. The Christian Women’s Leadership Conference already has over 1200 women who have registered, and Dr. Rosenberg is believing for hundreds of people to come to know Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior at this conference, as well as to grow in their skills, confidence, and passions as leaders in the Nation of Pakistan.
Finally, in 2023, Dr. Rosenberg was formally commissioned and confirmed into the Office of Evangelist in The Church. Dr. Rosenberg takes this mantle extremely seriously. It is her mission to live in such a way as to be Light and Salt in the World, to encourage and uplift others, and to lead as many people as possible to the everlasting Love, Forgiveness, and Salvation that is a free gift to every person through the Life of Jesus Christ, her Lord and Savior. Her most important role is that of a Daughter of the King.
