Bill’s life changed in ways no one is ever ready for. ⬇️

In just two months, he lost his partner of 49 years, his ability to drive, and most of his mobility. At NorthWest Place, he found a way forward, with support from our community to pull him out of his room and to rebuild, one step at a time.

For 21 years, Kristi has been a familiar face at NorthWest Place and a big part of what keeps our days moving. She started as a Dining Room Server and, over the years, has worked in nearly every role in the community except Executive Director! When the time came to choose the position that fit her best, she landed at the front desk, where her love for people, conversation, and the ever-changing nature of the job made receptionist the perfect match.

Originally, Kristi's from Alaska, later moving to Oregon, and she brings plenty of personality to everything she does! Outside of work, she enjoys playing pool and poker, reading, writing, horror films, scavenger hunts, walking, crabbing, and, fittingly, being a socialite. We are so grateful for the love and experience she brings to our community every day.
