A local private school Class Academy stopped by to spread some holiday cheer.

They left homemade cards outside every resident's door and even made time to cuddle with our newest resident, "Peaches" the dog! As you can see, Peaches was in pure bliss receiving all that affection. It was definitely a mix of dog therapy for the kids and human therapy for Peaches.

The Royal Blues returned to Northwest Place, and the room was packed! 🎶

Every December, we look forward to the visit from our local high school's premier choir group. They put on their best show of the year for us, mixing classic Christmas and Hanukkah carols with a few modern favorites.

It’s time for our Home for the Holidays: Door Décor Contest – Round 1! 🎄

Our residents and teams at Northwest Place have been busy decking the halls, and now we want your help choosing our community’s winning door. We want to send a special thank you to Jana, Carolyn (who had staff and residence add their names to the little Santa hats on her door!), David and Carole (for honoring Hanukkah on their door), and Dennis (who's letting it snow!).

How to vote:
1️⃣ Browse the doors in this post (each one has a number!)

Usually, the NWP team is snapping the photos, but our residents wanted to create a special display for the lobby featuring the staff. They curated a festive lineup of portraits, capturing the team through their own lens. We couldn't get every single team member in the frame, but seeing this gesture on the wall is a reminder of why we love working here. This year, our gratitude is found in the connections we made both inside and outside our doors.

Northwest Place embraced the spirit of community in a big way in 2025. We challenged ourselves physically during the SRG Senior Living company-wide Tour de Zest and Hydration Challenge to prove that wellness is better when we do it together. But the real magic happened when we invited the neighborhood in.

Seeing the joy of local kids during trick-or-treating and welcoming new faces at our Open House reminded us that we are part of something bigger. We balanced that hospitality with plenty of adventure by exploring the beautiful Pacific Northwest on our frequent outings.

Thank you for a year of open doors, open hearts, and shared adventures. Happy Thanksgiving from NWP! 🌲🍂🎃

Fresh curds and cold scoops of ice cream were the order of the day! 🧀🍦

We took a trip out to the famous Tillamook Creamery to see the operation up close. The scale of the building is impressive, but the real highlight was the lunch break. Between a cheesy meal, a browse through the gift shop, and a final treat for the road, we savored every bit of the visit. It was a delicious way to spend a day in Oregon!
