The Patient Care Toolkit
Physicians and other medical professionals enroll for a free Patient Care Toolkit that is pre-loaded with hundreds of patient education handouts and videos from reputable sources that serve the needs of over 20 medical specialties.
The Toolkit includes “Questions to Ask” and Learning Guides (i.e. “Acne 101”) that help patients prepare for their appointment, leading to more productive and meaningful interactions. The Toolkit also offers support tools, such as diaries, medication savings and reminders that help patients better manage their care from home.
For instance, the Toolkit offers Asthma Education content for use by allergists, pediatricians and family physicians. Asthma resources include videos on how to use an inhaler, an asthma diary, an Asthma Action Plan, and savings on asthma medications.
The Toolkit is designed for display on the doctor’s own website so that it can provide an in-depth resource for patients and the community. The Toolkit can also be viewed on a mobile app (iOS, Android).

Professional Profile
Vivacare also provides enrolled medical professionals with the ability to control their own Professional Profile online. Unlike other profiles that have been published ABOUT the doctor, such as Yelp, the Vivacare Profile is built FOR the doctor
Vivacare enables physicians to share your expertise and unique approach to care with existing and prosepctive patients.
The Profile can be customized with doctor-authored “Tips & Wisdom” to help patients understand their professional perspective on key issues. For instance, dermatologists might offer Sunscreen Selection Tips or Acne Skin Care Tips, and pediatricians might publish their tried-and true Tips on Newborn Sleep.
The Health Care Community
Vivacare partners with health care organizations that wish to support health care professionals in the delivery of care and deliver helpful resources at the point of care.
For instance, Vivacare has partnered with the Society of Dermatology Physician Assistants (SDPA) to provide Vivacare as a membership benefit to its 2800 dermatology Physician Assistants.
Vivacare has also worked with pharmaceutical and device companies to sponsor disease education programs. For instance, patient education resources from the National Rosacea Society (NRS) were made available within the Patient Care Toolkit as a “Rosacea Education Kit” and promoted to the dermatology community with the support of a sponsor.
