Do you know the difference between heat exhaustion and heat stroke? Make sure to stay cool out there!

More ways to stay cool:
-take a cool shower or bath
-DIY a cool pack: mix 1 part hand sanitizer to 3 parts water and freeze in a ziplock bag (double bagged if possible), or freeze a wet washcloth
-mist your top sheet with water (it helps to cool you off while going to sleep)

Message from Statewide Employment First Coordinator Acacia McGuire Anderson on new online training modules launched!

The Office of Developmental Disabilities Services (ODDS) and the Employment First team have developed 32 new on-demand trainings. All 32 of these new online, interactive trainings qualify as Continuing Education Credits (CECs) for Employment Professionals and are available for free!

All trainings can be found in the current version in the Department-approved trainings. This list of department-approved trainings for Employment Professionals has been changed to a new catalog style format. The list will continue to include trainings that are approved by the ODDS for CECs and will be updated by ODDS as trainings are approved.
