Heart At Work Heart-Centered Bodywork 🌿Spiritual/Energy Healing 🌿 Intuitive🌿Astrologer🌿Body & Soul Therapies

Having traveled from the Dolomites to the Greek Islands and many places in between, as a Fine Arts major, it was upon Nyeema's return to the states that her attention turned to the Healing Arts. She brings great compassion, sensitivity and expertise to her work and has found that there is a direct correlation between one's own sense of wholeness and health and our capacity to help others heal. It is through her personal commitment to stay focused and attuned to her own healing that is at the root of her desire to heal others. Nyeema is celebrating her 22 years providing heart-centered body/energy work. Continually evolving her skill in various modalities, she comes full circle by consistently adhering to the 9 Principles of Harmony of Breema which was her very first intro to bodywork. Discover them here: http://youtu.be/dcJKPFwcb_U

She has acquired advanced level training in Jin Shin Do -'Way of the Compassionate Spirit'- a gentle yet profound form of acupressure, while also incorporating Deep Tissue, Shiatsu, Myofascial Release Techniques, Thai (table) Massage, Trigger Point Therapy, Passive Stretching, Reiki, Pregnancy Massage/Doula Labor Support, Hot Stone, Zoku Shin Do (Japanese foot massage) and the Pranic Healing work of Master Choa Kok Sui. She has also studied various forms of Qi Gong under the tutelage of Master Liu He. It is through her practice of Qi Gong, she has become adept at directing and moving 'stuck' qi that we often experience as tension within the musculature. Nyeema brings a nurturing, mindful, empathic, intuitive presence and an attentive listening ear to each session.. With a skillful alchemy of the above mentioned 'ingredients', it is her mission to provide and restore a calming, grounded sense of renewal, in which you will walk away feeling more energy, more flexibility, better alignment, relief from muscular tension, and emotional/ mental stress. She is most honored to assist you in maintaining your body/mind harmony.

Salt water, salty tears, salty blood, reproductive fluids, amniotic fluid, urine, sweat, salty cerebrospinal fluid pulsating through us like tides. Mammalian sea creatures.

Here, I am focusing my hold on the temporal bone. You may see that it's shape is circular, and allows space for the ear. You may see that it articulates with other cranial bones like the sphenoid, occiput, and parietal bones. You may see the temporalis; the muscle that covers the temporal bone, shaped like a sea shell. You may notice the Temporalis' relationship with our mandible, our jaw. You may feel that relationship when you clench, bite, or chew.

The temporal lobes sit behind the temporal bones. They are the second largest lobes and are associated with processing auditory information and encoding memory.
The word temporal relates to time.

How are our functions expressed or suppressed through anatomical and physiological structures ? What inhibits or expands the capacity for these structures ? How are the spaces between moving, allowing
the fluid tides to turn ?

How far back in time do we remember? And when are we still enough and quiet enough between movement for this remembrance?

When we look to nature... we see that winter is a time for stillness, conservation, rest... trees bare of leaves, animals beginning to hibernate. Meanwhile, in the human realm, there is a great deal of activity going on and a collective message that we should be busy both doing and consuming. There is a collective message that we should be turning our attention outward rather than turning within.

As you welcome the first day of winter...allow yourself to feel the energetic shift and resonance that the change of season brings. Invite yourself to gently turn within...and feel the part of you that is longing for this turn, this time for restoration and reflection.

For even just a short time today, release the busy-ness of doing... and give yourself full permission to savor the peace and simplicity of your own presence... nothing to do, nowhere to get to, nothing to strive for, no one to be.

Happy Solstice and the return of light✨

Being impeccable with your word is all about being mindful of how you use language and the power of your words. Sometimes people say things without really thinking about the impact of their words. We might say something hurtful or spread rumors or gossip and not realize how much damage we're doing.

It means using our words to spread love, truth, and positivity rather than negativity, lies, or gossip. It means being careful about communicating with others and using our words to uplift and create harmony and connection.

Being impeccable with your word also means being true to yourself and honoring your commitments. It means being honest and authentic in your communication and taking responsibility for your words and actions. It's about living with integrity and doing what you say you'll do.

Being impeccable with your word can be challenging. It requires a lot of self-awareness and a commitment to living with honesty and integrity. But when you can do it, you can create a more positive, harmonious world and positively impact the people around you.

The next time you're about to say something, take a moment to consider the impact of your words. Are they positive and uplifting, or negative and hurtful? By being more mindful of your language and choosing to be impeccable with your word, you can create a more loving and harmonious world for yourself and those around you.

"Touching hands are not like pharmaceuticals or scalpels. They are like flashlights in a darkened room. The medicine they administer is self-awareness. And for many of our painful conditions, this is the aid that is most urgently needed."
