Excited to have received my copy of Goldenberg and Goldstein’s Handbook in Otolaryngology! 📘✨
I was fortunate to contribute chapters on incision planning and scar revision, as well as botox, fillers, and facial implants—topics I’m passionate about and love teaching.

I’m honored to share that I have been nominated for Western Regional Director of the American Academy of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery (). I’m deeply grateful to my peers for this recognition and to be considered alongside Dr. Jill Hessler, whose leadership and contributions to our field inspire me every day.

The Western Region is known for its innovation and keen eye on natural beauty. If elected, my goal will be to strengthen connections across our region, represent our perspectives nationally, and foster engagement among surgeons at every career stage.

For me, this role is about creating tangible value for our members, encouraging mentorship and collaboration, and continuing to define and advance our expertise in areas like rhinoplasty, facial rejuvenation, and facial reanimation.

With any preexisting health condition such as diabetes, there are some considerations and steps that need to be taken both prior to surgery and immediately following in order to mitigate the associated risk levels.
What steps do diabetic patients need to take? Are there any factors that surgeons need to consider pre- and post-surgery for diabetic patients in particular?

👁️ Many people view plastic surgery procedures as having to choose one or the other. It’s an either/or situation. However, as history has shown us, sometimes duos complement each other and give a better overall result.
This brings us to the question at hand... brow lifts versus Botox. Do you need one or both?
