Cocoa and Caroling was magic last night. Decent weather, hot cocoa and cider, excellent music, and gathered community.

Here on Foster we do life better together than apart. Last night was evidence of that.

would like to thank Jason Owens(band director) and Katey Simmons(choral director) for rallying together the .strong Franklin High band and choir to share with all of us throughout the evening. We are a better community because of your commitment to the students and to their commitment to being invested in a place they call home.

We would also love to continue to thank and for helping us find and promote this event.

We are not just the City that works. We are the City that does so together. Thank you for sharing in the story with us here on Foster.

We love you all and invite you to spend some time with us along the streets of Foster this holiday season. Shops, restaurants, services, and crafting presented by a community of small business owners ready to extend grace, and masterful hospitality to you.

It is almost here! Cocoa and Caroling and the conclusion of Foster BINGO!

Super excited to have you all join us on Sunday at 4pm starting at Laurelwood Park where the .strong High School band and choir lead us in caroling up and down Foster.

After a moment in the park, join us at for complimentary cocoa and cider. This is also the best place and time to drop off your BINGO cards. All cards dropped off at Pieper Cafe during the event are entered TWICE!

2 chances to win a $50 gift card for a single line or a $100 gift card for a fully filled card. And remember, the Kainos Coffee space is a free space!

We are soooo close to next weekend’s Cocoa and Caroling event!

Come spend some time with us starting at 4pm, December 14th at Laurelwood Park and then at for caroling with the Franklin High .strong choir and band. We will be serving free cocoa and cider at Pieper cafe while the caroling troupes drift up and down Foster.

This is also your best chance to finish up your BINGO card and drop it off at Pieper Cafe for a second entry to the raffle for any card returned to us at the cafe during the event.

Sometimes shops shutter and find new homes. We wish .coffee all the success in the world as they venture anew over in Gresham.

But now we have a FREE SPACE on the BINGO card!

If you have one, it is free to decorate as you wish, we will count it as a stickered spot no matter what. If you do not have a card yet, come on down to the Foster area and do some holiday shopping and mix’n’minglin’ and pick up a card from one of the 24 businesses participating.

If you haven’t met yet, here is a great chance to get to know them and see their craftwork on display.

Not only do they do great commission woodworking, but they also are big in the scene. They make a cart most every year and create the awards for the derby.

So pop on by, grab a drink, and see if there might be a sleek piece of wood you want to take home with you. They really know how to handle it well!
