Teaching someone how to love themselves is not easy. So, here is the best way to make that happen: Love yourself first.

Part of this is being angry about your body in pain. Having failed or betrayed you. It definitely means you haven’t fallen in love with your own anatomy, and what have stopped listening to what it's trying to tell you. curiosity is a much stronger learning tool than anger.

Let your curiosity lead your tapping sessions. What is this pain trying to get me to remember? When did it start? How old was I when it began?

Shift your opening dialogues with your body from "i have to fix you" to "you are my partner, help me understand you."

This is the goal and process, of tapping. We’re first trying to get rid of pain. Because, you know, pain sucks. But as we move along we realize that we can release troubling emotions and pain without diminishing ourselves. We are releasing our ‘engagement’ with our pieces, our components.

And we come around to our wholeness. We are the observer of ourselves. We are both the parts and the whole. The tapestry of who we are contains both light and dark threads. And this is as it should be.

When we embrace the ‘not good parts’ of ourselves by not trying to eliminate them, we accept our full humanity. We gain peace. And when we gain personal peace we become of beacon of peace in the world, we take it with us and radiate it everywhere we go.

If you are churning in your mind, take a break. Take many breaks. There is too much going on right now to stay completely plugged into everything everywhere all at once. We were not built for that. Tend to what is given to you to tend. That is all that is required. If you have more in the tank, then go for it. But taking care of yourself is NOT social or spiritual bypassing.

“But how will we read your quotes?” This is a call to keep digital boundaries. You miss what you miss; you see what you see. Sometimes being informed is actually just being misinformed. We weren’t meant to absorb endless streams of news, arguments, propaganda, and other people’s emotions around the clock. When you consume too much information without pause, your body stays in a state of alert, even when there’s no immediate danger. Taking time off the internet is a way of telling your nervous system it’s safe to rest.

“Goodbye to Gary

It is with a heavy heart that I announce the passing of Gary Craig, Founder of EFT … and my father. He was his usual enthusiastic and charming self until the very last moment, and he went peacefully in his sleep, lying in his favorite recliner, overlooking the Pacific Ocean.

With the creation of EFT, he opened new doors, combining scientific approaches and an
energy component to revolutionize the healing of emotional issues, and bringing
awareness to the emotional causes of physical issues. Personally, I cherished the
opportunity to work by his side; in partnership with his teachings, with a front row seat to
his generosity, and inspired by his spirituality.”

Gary Craig was an exceptional human whose work and spirit have already touched millions of lives, and relieved great suffering from the world.

I have come to understand EFT tapping as a spiritual journey. As we release the hurting parts of ourselves, we come closer to understanding and living our true selves as love incarnate in the world, having an adventure.

Gary had a transcendent experience that influenced his whole life, that was born of frustration. I hope we all can turn our pain into our greatest growth and happiness, and bring more love health and healing into our world.

Thank you Gary, we’ll meet you on the other side.
