Meta-Tanks

Meta-Tanks Meta-Tanks is a small, vertical float tank manufacturing business and underground float club. Owned Christopher Messer has been building float tanks since 1976.

It all started while swimming near tranquil reef in Hawaii. In a moment of stillness as he stopped to take in the view, he had the insight to find a way to bring a small piece of the ocean back home with him, but this was only the beginning stages of his float tank evolution. In the 70's and 80's horizontal float tanks where the only known, so he went with the flow building several tanks over the

years, that would end up being floating in by 1000's of people. In 2015 the first meta-tank was built and began the new vertical style that we continue to build today.

Birds high up in the sky, waves rolling in on the shore, the wind blowing through palm trees and plants that grow on your private secluded island all contribute both visually and in sound to a surreal experience that practically makes you feel the ocean breeze.
